Donald Morton was a truly good man — deeply loved by his family, his church, and his community. People came from all around East Tennessee seeking his counsel, encouragement, and godly wisdom. He had a brilliant mind, a pastor’s heart, and a wonderful down-to-earth humor that put people at ease.
God worked powerfully in his life, and through him, many lives were touched and changed. Whether through his music, his poetry, or the quiet wisdom he freely shared, our dad pointed people to Jesus with both grace and strength.
